In the 2009 CCY National Rally, the North East Youth came second in the Austen Trophy - Well Done to all who participated.
YOUTH
Jackie and Brian Sharp will take over the reigns as North East Region Youth Liaison Officers from 1 January 2010.
They have been assistant Youth Officers for the Trailer Tent and Folding Camper Group for two years and have helped at numerous rallies. They have also been heavily involved in the Scouting movement.
They have two sons - Jordan and Jake

Welcome to the web site of the North East Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club we cover an area from North Yorkshire going north to the Scottish Borders and west as far as Cumbria.
We comprise of the counties of Durham and Northumberland the Tees Valley and parts of North Yorkshire split into the three district associations of Durham DA, Northumbrian DA and Teesside DA.
The Region also has local sections of National Groups such as The British Caravanner's Club, The Mountain Activity Section, Trailer Tent and Folding Camper Group, Motor Caravan Section and many more (see the links page) These pages will keep you informed of the camping events and news relating to camping in the North East Region.
All Camping and Caravanning Club Members are very welcome to camp at any of our meets and booking is rarely required (use this site in conjunction with your Out and About).
