The North East Regional Meet was held in Hurle House Field, Wolviston.

A party of Youth left for Dorking in Surrey for the first weekend in July, whilst they did not win any of the competitions they have represented the North East Region admirably and can class themselves as winners!
YOUTH
Welcome to the web site of the North East Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club we cover an area from North Yorkshire going north to the Scottish Borders and west as far as Cumbria.
We comprise of the counties of Durham and Northumberland the Tees Valley and parts of North Yorkshire split into the three district associations of Durham DA, Northumbrian DA and Teesside DA.
The Region also has local sections of National Groups such as The British Caravanner's Club, The Mountain Activity Section, Trailer Tent and Folding Camper Group, Motor Caravan Section and many more (see the links page) These pages will keep you informed of the camping events and news relating to camping in the North East Region.
All Camping and Caravanning Club Members are very welcome to camp at any of our meets and booking is rarely required (use this site in conjunction with your Out and About).
If you want to see the tall ships in Hartlepool in August this year then the North East are holding the THS’s for you - Durham DA are at Crimdon and the North East Region are at Wolviston. Both sites are close and at the moment both sites have spaces.

A site has been chosen for the NFOL 2012 - Greystone Farm, the same venue as in 2000. There are some posts still available on the Organising Committee.
